Schedule a Session

Your child should be able to swim independently (be able to jump into the pool in water that is above their head, surface and swim to the edge of the pool unassisted).

I will provide materials needed for the session, including a kick board and other training devices. Your swimmer will need to arrive on time in their swimsuit with sun protection and goggles.

Among some of the skills we’ll work on:

  • Side Breathing for Freestyle
  • Freestyle and Backstroke Kick Fundamentals
  • Freestyle Arm and Body Fundamentals
  • Backstroke Fundamentals
  • Stroke Counts
  • Breast Stroke Fundamentals
  • Butterfly Torso and Leg Movements
  • Butterfly Arm Fundamentals

Sessions can be held individually or with a small group of up to 3 children. When there are multiple children at a session, one child will complete a task while the other child(ren) are asked to hold onto the wall or sit on the edge until it is their turn. Sessions are 30 minutes long and are held in the shallow end of the Wellington community pool. Please remain at the pool during the duration of the sesson.

New session times will be released weekly as my summer schedule allows.
